Social Work Profession

Having Social Work as a profession you have to have a big heart. Academic discipline that looks to improve the quality of life and well being of an individual, group, or community by intervening through research , policy, community organizing, direct practice, and teaching on behalf of those afflicted with poverty or any real or perceived social injustices and violations to their human right. Everyday you will encounter people that are homeless, jobless,poor and etc. You can't judgmental you are there to help clients find resources to help them in whatever situation they are in. While working with a client you are not get attached to them or feel sorry for them because of the situation they are in.
